The home site is within a cottonwood forest in close proximity to the Snake River and bounded on the north and west property lines by the intersection of two major subdivision roads. Slightly farther west is a major highway corridor. The Client wanted a landscape design that was respectful of the natural setting of the home as well as the architectural integrity of the new addition while mitigating some of the intrusiveness of the adjacent roadways.
