James Smith brings first hand knowledge of construction and landscape construction to his position as Project Manager. He earned a degree in History from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN before his construction experience inspired him to study design in the Landscape Architecture Master's Program at Louisiana State University. In addition to working in landscape contracting, he also worked in a small design firm in New Orleans before joining our team.
As Project Manager, James oversees all aspects of projects from the conceptual level through construction. He uses his hands-on experience and CAD skills to create construction drawings for large scale projects. Projects he has contributed to include 3 Creek Ranch Golf Course, Pinedale and Davey Jackson elementary schools, Rangeview Park, and the Livingood Residence, recognized nationally by the American Society of Landscape Architecture for excellence in residential design.(email)
